Levenger is a multi-channel company with headquarters in Delray Beach and luxury retail stores in Boca Raton, Boston, Chicago, and McLean, VA.  We design and sell high-end products related to reading, writing, and working with ideas. 

We seek a detail-oriented candidate, with the ability to multi-task, to join our merchandising team at our corporate headquarters.  This position is responsible for acquiring and tracking information through all phases of a product’s life cycle and supports the Product Manager in the furniture and accessories product line. 

Position works with quality assurance to ensure products meet or exceed Levenger expectations, communicates with vendors, identifies market trends and competitive products, requests and coordinates sample merchandise, and provides clerical and administrative assistance.  Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task and prioritize are required.  Degree or equivalent, minimum 2 years’ experience in product management in a retail, catalog or web industry preferred.  See below for responsibilities and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Assist in new product development by conducting market research and trend analysis
  
• Develop and update competitive analysis
  
• Support development of new products and prepare specification sheets
  
• Develop and update sales and market analysis
  
• Develop and update product related internal documentations
  
• Prepare, analyze and summarize reports as requested

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

• Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience
  
• Experience in merchandising or product development, minimum 2 years preferred
  
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities (Ability to manage multiple projects is a must)
  
• Outstanding organizational skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and energetic
  
• Ability to focus in fast-paced business environment with changing priorities
  
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
