Reports To:
Product Manager - Product Development
Responsibilities:
An import distributor of gift, travel and sports accessories is looking for an energetic person who will report directly to the Product Manager . The responsibilities of this position are to assist the manager in creating and maintaining a comprehensive database of product specifications as well as tracking and controlling new product samples. The ideal candidate will be expected to follow through on a multitude of projects, many occurring at the same time.
Requirements:
We are looking for an individual who :
- Is detailed oriented and multi-task oriented
- Is organized with strong mathematical skills to prepare costing comparison analyses
- Has database experience; FileMaker pro a plus
- Has Excellent Computer Skills with Microsoft Outlook/Emails; Microsoft Word & Excel
- Needs excellent math skills to prepare costing comparison analyses
- Must be able to keep our costing files up-to-date for hundreds of products in an economic environment of constant price changes
- Needs to maintain product database and product sample rooms
- Has good communication skill
- Has excellent clerical skills such as filing, shipping packages, phone skills, etc.
- Has some College background and related office experience
Experience:
At least 4 years of related work experiences
Salary:
