The Luggage Factory, New Jersey's Largest Luggage and Travel Goods Store and Vera Bradley Boutique, is looking for an energetic Full-time Assistant Store Manager to help facilitate sales growth and increase customer service. The individual we are seeking must have a high energy level with great interpersonal skills, and thrive on multiple challenges.
Primary responsibilities include: • Driving sales through amazing personal service, • Hire, train, supervise, motivate and develop a team of full time and part time associates • Coordinate the overall supervision of retail staff to ensure sales performance goals are met and procedures are followed accurately • Regulate retail inventory to reduce shrinkage, maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure report accuracy • Forecast scheduling needs to meet customer demand and create work schedules • Delegate daily workload among associates to meet merchandising and visual presentation standards • Coordinate and execute seasonal planograms sets and merchandising • Partner with owners and management team to develop strategies to continue to take our business to the next level.

Job Requirements: • Very customer service oriented: willing to help with whatever the customer needs and shows a level of ownership and a superior customer service experience • Strong consultative skills -- particularly in the field of travel retail • Strong verbal communication skills • Ability to operate a point of sale computer system • High attention to detail, particularly in accuracy of data entry • Interest in travel industry is a must • Experience with Vera Bradley product is a plus • Values personal appearance • A genuine desire to help people • Experience working independently and as a team while meeting goals • Outstanding listening, questioning, and persuading skills
