Job Description:
 
The Assistant Vice President of Enterprise PMO & Governance reports to the Senior Vice President of Information Technology and will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of Information Technology projects affecting LPS functional areas such as REO and Field Services solutions. This position is also responsible for the development, implementation and training of an enterprise wide project management methodology, governance processes, tools and metrics at Lender Processing Services.
 
The Assistant Vice President of Enterprise PMO & Governance will assist Senior Executive IT and Business Management with project request evaluation to ensure that potential impacts to existing projects/applications are considered, that business value impact is determined, and that Project Management and Business Analyst resources are properly allocated to projects. The Assistant Vice President of Enterprise PMO & Governance is responsible for day to day oversight of all projects within the portfolio and is the point of escalation for project managers/business analyst resources.  He/She will also be required to provide to analysis of portfolio and/or project performance and make recommendations for resolution.    
 
Travel 25% - 75%
 
General:
·         This position will be fully responsible for all people management functions including assigning and prioritization work, setting objectives, providing skill set development for functional and technical competencies and facilities professional development for LPS project managers and business analysts.
·         Understands customer dynamics and needs at all levels (end-user to executive)
·         Strongly mentors good customer services attitudes and skills among project managers, business analysts, project team members, administrative and peers
·         Incorporates customer satisfaction tasks and measurements in the LPS project methodology
·         Remain informed of external trends and potential opportunities that may affect the LPS development environment.
   
Experience
·         10+ years of professional work experience in the field of Information Technology
·         5 to 8 years of employee management experience required
·         5 years project management experience
·         Experience leading $1 million + projects with multiple site implementations, multiple vendors, and 20+ business and IT resources
·         Program management experience preferred
·         Prior experience in leading the systems analysis, design and development of applications
·         Experience with software application development and testing
·         Experience with process and data mapping and management
·         Mortgage industry experience a plus
 
Education
·         Technical or Business  Baccalaureate Degree Required (or Equivalent Experience)
·         MS or MBA strongly preferred
 
Certifications
·         PMP certification or equivalent project management training
