Assistant General Manager
Ability to successfully drive a high volume, Fine Dining Restaurant Operation. Ideal candidate must process a strong commitment and passion to managing details and service execution.
- Minimum 3 years prior experience as a Assistant General Manager or General Manager in a high volume, high end service.
- Oversees all recruiting, hiring, training and development within the venue.
- Provides overall Leadership.
- Promptly addresses all operational issues with Management and Staff.
- Ensures Service goals and standards are defined and enforced in all venues.
- Monitors venue environment for cleanliness, appropriate lighting, sound and temperature.
- Executes Sales and Marketing opportunities.
- Develops and executes strategic planning and forecasting.
- Ensures 'A' Grade compliance with the Health Department, oversees all inspections.
- Maintains systems, policies and procedures for use in recruiting, hiring, training, management, physical plant, inventory, scheduling, cost and operational efficiencies.
- Must posses good communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
- Must have thorough understanding of the Union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Must have the ability to understand and execute Marketing requirements.
- Establish measurable goals and objectives that focus on profit, product and people.
- Professionally groomed and act as a role model.
- Ability to digest complex information and communicate this to all employees.
