Assoc. Dispute Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of the cardholder transaction dispute cycle including chargebacks, representments, pre-arbitration and pre-compliance, arbitration, compliance, adjustments, PPCS submissions, and fraud reporting.
- Research, analyze, and carry out the appropriate course of action for each claim. Cases must be processed in strict accordance with Visa's operating regulations and federal regulatory standards in order to mitigate losses to Visa and the client.
- Provide information, direction, ongoing training, and support to Visa clients regarding Visa and federal regulations as they pertain to dispute resolution management and other exception processing related issues
- The Associate Dispute Analyst is responsible for advising clients on regulatory and documentation requirements associated with the submission of chargebacks, pre-arbitration and pre-compliance cases and should direct clients on the best course of action when filing cases with the Global Arbitration and Compliance committee.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A Comprehensive understanding of banking regulations, the dispute resolution process (including arbitration and compliance) and of Visa's global operating regulations
- An expert understanding of ATM exceptions and the shared deposit process.
- A detailed understanding of card processing and the bankcard industry
- Functional knowledge of VisaNet services
- Clearly expresses ideas using sound data through the highly proficient use of desktop tools including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Builds productive relationships across department and functional boundaries.
- Makes sound business decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
