This role supports the Client Markets group for MGA, MGU, IR (Individual risk) P&C accounts. Manchester, NH is the position location.
Responsibilities for this position are as follows:
This role will be responsible for facilitating client management activities to ensure timely, quality, cost effective and innovative deal execution of NAS single accounts and programs.
Able to lead a client service team representing multiple disciplines
Identify solutions and structure deals in an efficient and cost effective manner while adhering to applicable regulatory requirements.
Meet client needs through superior customer service
Develop and monitor program specific underwriting guidelines
Assist in the preparation of product filings (rates, forms, rules)
Conduct annual compliance reviews for all assigned programs
Provide technical support for NAS product management activities
Shape deal structures to achieve SR risk objectives including aligning financial interests and minimizing/managing credit risk by working with SR client management and NAS resources to communicate advantages and disadvantages of structures to allow reasoned risk decisions and proper processing
Understand strategies of the various SR business unites and develop products to help leverage those strategies using NAS Group companies
Have the willingness and ability to be engaged in all details of client management; this is a very hands-on position
Perform other related duties as assigned
Actively participate in projects as assigned
Participate in industry related organizations, groups and affiliations
Coordinate outside services (loss prevention, premium audit) as required
The following background and skills are required:
College degree, CPCU or work experience equivalent
10 years commercial P&C insurance experience in the areas of underwriting, marketing and operations in a direct insurance company environment
Specific knowledge of Casualty lines; good working knowledge of Property & Marine
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to rate, form and rule filings and flexibility, cancellation and non-renewal, non-admitted market, etc.
Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Exhibit a commitment to customer service
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to effectively manage a team to achieve goals
Strong customer service skills
A desire to learn and grow professionally
Word and Excel knowledge
