The team is responsible for auditing against specific performance criteria and supporting documentation standards and ensuring claims are paid or deductions cleared in a timely manner to ensure adherence to aging and balance metrics.

The position acts as a business partner with FSV Finance to identify trade process gaps and implement solutions to optimize trade performance.

This position is responsible for the design and implementation of process flows for new business initiatives as they occur, such as Sysco centralized billing.

The Associate Manager also has accountability to partner with other TS Managers to drive department efficiencies and ensure headcount optimization

Provide ad hoc reporting for Finance as required. The Trade Spend Associate Manager for the Frito Lay Food Service Vend team is responsible for managing a team of 12 non-exempt associates who audit claims for merch payments to customers.

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL: RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide daily supervision of baseline team consisting of 12 accounting specialists.

* Monitor period KPI’s including aging percentages and ensure adherence to target metrics

* Partner FoodService Finance to identify and implement business process efficiencies and changes to drive improvements to trade spending.

* Ensure timely, accurate and efficient processing of all merchandising claim payments and deductions for FSV trade.

* Perform analysis of deduction activity, forecast balances for cash flow and P&L reporting and provide period reporting on write-off activity

* Design and implement trade payment process efficiencies, including the integration of advanced excel templates, to streamline trade payment processing

* Maintain period reporting templates to enable timely monitoring and analysis of deduction aging and administer write-off process as necessary

* Partner with Finance and FSV Sales to manage and collect or clear aged claims, including obtaining all necessary contract and supporting documentation

* Partner with the Genesis Food Service Trade Spend Manager and Systems Manager to identify and implement overall TS process and system improvements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* MBA or CPA

* 6+ years of prior Accounting experience.

* Good interactive skills.

* People leadership experience.

* Public accounting experience. Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of Excel.*

COMPENSATION
45 - 50.00 PER HOUR

Client prefers local candidates. APR nor the Client can pay the expense to fly-in candidates for the interview process.

7-year criminal background check and drug test will be conducted if an offer is made; Must be able to pass all of the screenings in order to be hired.
