Position Summary: The Operations Coordinator is responsible for activities involving the hourly workforce to include: 1. Administration of TPM Autonomous Maintenance documentation. 2. Production department Job skills documentation and Matrix development. 3. Administrator of hourly coworkers attendance monitoring and documentation. 4. Hourly coworker vacation scheduling and monitoring. 5. Maintaining records of employee movements and database maintenance. Position Responsibilities: 1. The coordinator will be responsible for working with the production departments and supervision to update all documentation regarding TPM--- Autonomous Maintenance implementation. This would include updating Self Assessments, Step Audits, and SWOT analysis on Activity boards. This person will maintain the One Point Lesson database and will be responsible keeping a consistent process in OPL administration. 2. The coordinator will be responsible to maintain the Master Job skills matrix for each coworker in the facility. By working with the production department supervision, the coordinator will be responsible being the administrator of the job qualification documentation. This includes working with department supervisors to maintain and update the core skills and pay for knowledge documents. 3. Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of attendance records for all hourly coworkers using information received from supervision and where necessary Human resources. Coordinator will also keep track of all Missed Punch forms filled out by coworkers and signed by supervision. Coordinator will complete all warning letters in accordance with Independence No Fault attendance policy and in line with policies regarding coworker responsibility for maintaining time keeping integrity. These letters will submitted to supervision for distribution to the employees and ensure they are returned in a timely fashion. Coordinator will generate reports regarding attendance records on a designated frequency. These reports will be made available to department supervisors, managers and HR manager. 4. The coordinator will work with all Department managers with regards to the administration of employee movement activities within the facility in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. The coordinator will maintain the database that tracks employee movement and recall to home departments and classifications, which is related to hiring, reductions or layoffs. 5. The coordinator will be a valuable member of the Operations leadership team and will be called upon to perform a multitude of other tasks that are not defined here that will streamline activities for the first line supervision and hourly coworkers. Scope: The coordinator will be strong contributor in the promotion of the TPM Autonomous maintenance activities. The success of this program is business critical to the Independence plant and Unilever. The coordinator has the responsibility to administer tasks in accordance with company and plant policy and procedures. The adherence to these has a direct impact on the hourly coworkers and plant morale. All tasks must be performed accurately and timely. Skills & Competencies: High School Diploma or equivalent, 4 year College degree preferred. Production floor experience a plus. Must have experience working with detail. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and have some computer system experience to be able to maintain information within databases and efficiently generate charts and graphs. Previous experience with navigating Peoplesoft and Kronos timekeeper is desired. Knowledge of Company Systems/ Processes. Demonstrates awareness of and utilizes available resources. Keeps up to date on company procedures, policies, etc. Must be able to administer policy consistently. Exhibits professional written and oral communication skills through written correspondence and verbal communication. Takes the initiative to assure appropriate parties are aware of necessary information and follow-up action is taken until closure is met. Demonstrates the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts. Is clear and persuasive.
