The role of the Associate Brand Manager Associate is to provide support with brand direction, development and execution of brand marketing programs. Assists with review of market research to anticipate competition and market trends and translate consumer attitudes into new branding directions. Assists with communication of brand strategies to Marketing Services, Sales, R&D and other departments. Ensures alignment of brand strategy with corporate marketing plan. Works with other departments to help develop advertising and promotional programs, pricing, positioning, and packaging. Assists in planning and coordination of product launch. Work is performed under direct supervision.

Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of innovation projects fromthe ideation stage through launch
Participate in the development of the mid and long-term innovation strategy
Work in close partnership with the Sales teams to translate consumer, retailer and shopperunderstanding into innovative and effective innovation concepts and new brand ideas
Build strong relationships with our Central teams in Germany to communicate the North
American agenda in regards to Innovation
Collaborate & drive cross-functional Innovation initiatives internally within North America
Execute every step of the innovation process from ideation to activation
Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual operating plan reviews
Assist with the development and execution of major consumer promotions and tradeprograms designed to gain volume, market share and profits
Participate in advertising agency meetings with brand's advertising agency to include anynecessary preliminary and follow-up work

Qualification:

Who we are looking for


BS/BA (Business, Social Sciences - Psychology, Sociology, Economics), MBA preferred
2 - 5 years’ experience in consumer products marketing and/or sales
2 - 5 years' experience in Brand Management
Track record of leading new products from concept development to shelf, managing multipleaspects of product commercialization process
Prior experience leveraging consumer and market insights to develop innovative andeffective marketing programs and campaigns
Knowledge of category (major competitors, target users, industry trends) preferred
Strong project management skills.
Proficiency with PC applications MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint
