Reporting Relationship- solid line to Senior Design Manager J&W for NA. Cross functional relationship with PD Managers and CAD Designers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist Sr. Manager prepare for any presentations (set up forms, purge past samples, pull swipe, create boards, etc.)
  


• Design and develop new products using overseas vendors and Modelshop
  


• Keep abreast of trends in the marketplace
  


• Hit turnover deadlines to PD
  


• Assist Sr. Manager in sending out development packages to vendors
  


• Keep samples and componentry organized
  


• Trip prep for Sr. Designer and post trip organization
  


• Attend local shows and trend service seminars with Sr. Designer
  

• BA/ BS, preferrably in Design
  


• 3 to 5 years working experience in Costume Jewelry Design
  


• portfolio
  


• sketching, rendering and technical drawing ability
  


• needs to be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
  


• self starter, self motivated, constant flow of ideas and solutions
  


• ability to work on multiple projects/ categories simultaneously
  


• basic knowledge of CAD software
  


• Photoshop, Illustrator and Word proficient (graphics capabilities)
