Title: Associate Director, Financial Analysis & Reporting
Department: Finance  
Supervisor: VP, Assistant Controller
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:          
  • Assist in the due diligence process of all IAC’s mergers and acquisitions activity, including providing technical accounting support to IAC’s Mergers & Acquisitions group.
  • Responsible for maintaining all purchase accounting documentation including:
  • preparation of all purchase accounting documentation related to corporate acquisitions or investments including preparation and accumulation of analyses to support purchase accounting adjustments
  • review of all purchase accounting documentation related to acquisitions or investments at any of IAC’s business units
  • coordination of Hart Scott Rodino filings
  • preparation of pro forma financial statements
  • Coordinate and assist with the integration of all accounting and financial reporting aspects related to new acquisitions to ensure adherence to company-wide GAAP financial and accounting policies.
  • Monitor the activities of all accounting standard setting bodies, including FASB, EITF, SEC, AICPA, and PCAOB and evaluate the accounting and reporting impact on the Company;
  • Assist with the research of technical accounting issues related to the Company to determine appropriate accounting and financial reporting treatment;
  • Assist in providing technical accounting support to IAC’s business units in their assessment of accounting issues; 
  • Consult with independent auditors on accounting matters and disclosure requirements as required;
  • Assist with the preparation and review of SEC Forms 10-Q and 10-K to ensure public disclosure is complete and accurate;
  • Support other Finance functions as necessary.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS in Accounting; CPA required.  Must have 10-12 years public & private experience, “Big 4” strongly preferred.
  • Heavy SEC experience a plus
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Intermediate level knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Experience working effectively as part of a small team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
