Main Areas of Responsibility

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Inventory spends analysis for printed materials - $65 Million Budget. 

·         Tracks spend within a directed turnkey environment.

·         Monitor contracted spend to ensure rates are accurate and within accepted baseline values.

·         Prepare variance analysis for all spend and ensure saving targets are validated.

·         Document results and methodology.

·         Prepare monthly spend analysis for current spend to baseline.

·         Use historical and future spend forecasts to develop saving projections.

·         Work with 3^rd party service provider to investigate cost/margin improvement options within the spend category.

·         Prepare purchase price variance reports and analysis.

 Requirements and Skills

·         BA degree in Supply Chain, Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus.

·         1-3 years financial analysis experience within the consumer goods industry.

·         Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

·         Excellent Microsoft Office skills a must.

·         Hyperion and or Business Objects system experience a plus.

·         Understanding and Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley – 404.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for interaction with all levels including senior management.

·         Must be proactive and able to perform requirements of position with minimal supervision.

·         Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

·         Ability to work extended hours during month, quarter, and year-end financial closings and budget planning.
