As the Associate Interactive Designer for the Making It Count, property site of Monster Worldwide, you will serve as an integral member of the Marketing team to design and produce a wide array of marketing and communications materials to include advertising, sales support materials, marketing emails, online banners, training materials, e-learning programs, program support materials, tradeshow collateral and interactive web tools, training and games! The Associate Interactive Designer will also have the opportunity to develop print materials such as magazine layout and design, brochure development, and workbook development. The successful candidate will not only possess the required technical skill and be passionate about learning new technologies, but must have the ability to juggle multiple projects within tight deadlines for a variety of clients in a fast-paced atmosphere as well as be able to communicate comfortably with both creative and technology colleagues.

Essential Functions:

  • Design and produce a wide range of marketing and interactive graphics including, but not limited to: website designs, banner ads, animations, interactive e-learning programs, online games and quizzes, and HTML marketing emails
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, programmers and vendors to develop, produce, and resize flash and gif banner, interactive e-learning, and marketing concepts
  • Collaborate with copywriters and creative managers to create attractive and well-performing emails and landing pages that follow industry best practices
  • Ensure all requests for graphic support are fulfilled in a timely manner with clear and concise communication to management
  • Develop interactive designs that illustrate a complete understanding of the capabilities of browsers and design constraints on the Web, including design optimization, usability and functionality
  • Complete the over-flow of print design projects, including magazine and workbook layout and design
  • Research and implement appropriate new technologies, keeping up-to-date on relevant technology


Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree required, but Bachelors Degree preferred, in design or new media and a minimum of 1- 2 years experience working in interactive design and development (internships and co-ops apply) as well as a comprehensive and hands-on knowledge of the interactive space
  • Expert knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, AfterEffects and Dreamweaver with ability to design work on a PC/Windows-based system
  • Working knowledge of animation, video editing/production techniques, motion graphics production, HTML, CSS and Action scripting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with highly dynamic internal and external teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently handling complex projects and prioritizing and managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines and time constraints
  • Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude and be unafraid to “roll up your sleeves” as well as be motivated to excel and passionate about learning new areas of business and technology

 

There is no relocation assistance offered for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to report to
10296 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH on a daily basis.
