Our Energy Division is currently seeking an Associate Manager . This position located in Columbus, OH.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Battelle's Energy Systems and Carbon Management (ESCM) product line of the Battelle Energy Technology Global Business provides a broad range of technology solutions to support the energy conversion supply chain. We provide high-value services through a combination of technological innovation and established industry experience to meet the needs of government and global industrial clients.
The Associate Manager will be responsible for supporting the growth of the group's business base and further developing its staff, facility, and equipment resources to meet annual business volume and net profit growth at targets set by senior management. The ideal candidate will expand the vision of the ESCM product line's strategic plan by applying his/her demonstrated experience in and knowledge of energy-related technology and services. In addition, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the product line's program management processes to ensure compliance with global business directives.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an engineering, geologic science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing energy-related technical projects and staff with demonstrated ability to think and act strategically
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with management, staff, client organizations, and subcontractors
- Project Management Professional Certification with working knowledge of Earned Value Management Processes
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- An advanced degree in engineering, geologic science, business, or related field
