• Leading media objective and strategy development
• Presenting innovative, business building media recommendations
• Going beyond a media focus to develop programs that encompass all Client business goals
• Providing solutions to clients by utilizing MEC Interaction and WPP resources
• Involved in financial aspects of the account budget, staffing, projections, etc.
• Keeping abreast of project progress both internally and with Client
• Maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external contacts
• Contributing to agency revenue growth through existing account opportunities as well as new business
• Maintaining strong relationships with staff and growing the team as necessary
• Reviewing accounts to ensure that they are operating profitably and efficiently
• Assisting with the update of department revenue and staffing charts
• Will be responsible for all aspects related to staff such as hiring, reviews, etc.
• Provide direction for developmental success and contribution to the success of the team

Essentials qualifications for the position: candidates must possess excellent management, analytical, multi- tasking and decision making abilities, as well as a seasoned knowledge of all media disciplines. In addition, ideal candidates will have:

• 7+ years media planning experience w/ a strong emphasis on digital/online media
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional strategic leadership abilities
• A significant amount of client contact experience
• Traditional media background is a plus!
