Job Responsibilities:
- Provide general support in the preparation and implementation of product marketing plans.
- Conduct market analysis and forecasts regarding:
- Size of markets
- Competitive profiles/competitive analysis
- Market trends
- Buying habits/preferences/customer mix
- Product packaging
- Price Points
- Strengths/weaknesses of Invacare product and competition
- Prepare interpretation reports and summaries regarding market conditions and potential, product mix and pricing trends.
- Prepare and present P&L reports, analysis and summaries
- Provide direction for pricing and promotion to the organization
- Review product instruction sheets, product manuals, labels, etc. to ensure accuracy in content and brand name presentation.
- Oversee SKU rationalization and inventory management of product line.
- Provide product training for field sales personnel.
- Participate in department trade show preparation activities.
- Drive tactical details of projects, including leading cross-functional teams, providing VOC, and overall marketing input.
- Evaluates staffing needs and costs; identifies, hires, and promotes individuals with the right skills and competencies necessary to achieve superior results.
- Develops a team environment that values diversity and uses various individual’s strengths to the benefit of the team.
- Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.
- 2+ years of related experience (sales & marketing).
- Able to handle multiple assignments both long and short term in nature
- Excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail.
- Motivated, self-starter, independent, results oriented and professional; willing to learn.
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively under frequent deadlines.
- Proven project management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point and reporting tools (ie Business Objects, Discover).
