Job Title:                  Associate Product  Planner

Department:             Production Planning

Location:                  Stockertown, Pennsylvania

Sportswear manufacturer in the Allentown area is searching for an Associate Product Planner to work closely with sales, production planning and import teams on ongoing product development and timelines.  This position requires advanced Excel and  typing skills.  The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills (data base management desired)  and mathematical apptitude with strenghts in percentages and calculations. 

Responsibilities:

·         Gather and analyze information to prepare status reports

·         Assist in identifying project scope, and coordinating with management or others to identify goals, time   frame, budget and staffing requirements

·         Evaluates procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling

Education and Work Experience

·         Associate degree

·         Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in apparel/swimsuit design

·         Proven track record in working with deadlines

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

·         Excellent analytical skills (database management experience a plus).

·         Astute mathematical aptitude with strengths in percentages and calculations.

·         Advanced level in working with Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (AS400 a plus).   

·         Fast typing skills with accuracy required.
