Associate Program Specialist - Registration and Research
About the Job
PSI (www.policy-studies.com), is a rapidly expanding, nationally recognized provider of outsourcing, technology, and consulting services to health and human services organizations.
This position works with customers to access government-sponsored programs and receive program services, such as health insurance for family members. Responsibilities include:
• Registers applications in the state system which includes: conducts member searches to verify if application belongs to an existing member, inputs application into the system and retrieves case number
• May interact with program participants
• May educate customers on basic program services and eligibility requirements
• Works with customers to meet and achieve program goals and/or maintain program services and eligibility
The ideal candidate will typically possess the following:
• High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year experience enrollment, eligibility, collections or case management.
• Experience with MS Office products and in the use of a personal computer.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to all segments of the population.
