Associate Relationship Manager - Ann Arbor

Description:
The Associate Relationship Manager will develop relationships on campus and in the community that will generate new sales and increase overall interest in Kaplan programs. She/he will also be responsible for grassroots efforts at their designated campuses and within the community. This individual will work primarily with their supervisor, center team and Regional Marketing Director to create and execute plans that produce top line growth.
Business Development Strategy: Build Relationships & Promote Brand Awareness
o
Conduct informational and sales presentations on college campuses, at the center and in the community
o
Build and nurture relationships with key administrators, faculty, student organizations and advisors to increase Kaplans brand recognition and attendance at Kaplan events that will lead to increased sales
o
Plan, implement and oversee the local promotional programs, events and materials to increase enrollments
o
Execute planned marketing campaigns in partnership with the local team
o
Recruit, train, manage and coach Marketing Specialists and Campus Reps to achieve desired outcomes
o
Communicate and apply company-wide strategy, initiatives, and programs
o
Develop programs to monitor and counter competitive activity
o
Plan and manage all promotional and operational aspects of running Kaplan marketing events; prospect and participate in non-Kaplan events to attract students
o
Develop effective and creative ways to promote brand awareness that lead to measureable business results
o
Understand local trends and assist in developing strategies and tactics to respond to market changes
o
Support other center initiatives and assist in the delivery of excellent student service
o
Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely as required, monthly reports, contracts, etc.
o
Serves as a test prep and admissions expert in assigned products

Requirements
o
Bachelors Degree
o
3+ years professional experience including a minimum of one years experience in sales, client/customer relationship building, and/or event promotion.
o
Ability to work extended hours, as communicated by manager, in order to meet business objectives
o
Must be authorized to work in the United States
