Job Summary The position forms part of the Hair Care Research & Development team of the North American Regional Deploy Centre. The role is to undertake the Product Development responsibilities of hair care projects. This will involve the plan, design, coordinate, conduct and support all necessary developmental activities to achieve the project objectives and their preparation for launch in Unilever’s global and regional brands. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Support to implement robust innovation plans to support the business needs 2. Support all innovation agreed Regional / local Jewels using proven technology (from within the category toolbox) and operating within the Category Product Logic framework. 3. To be the custodian of the safety, robustness and the quality of these innovations. Coordinate the activities of development personnel in other RDpC areas so as to fully characterize all products using standard procedures and ensure that they are suitable and safe for consumer testing 4. Good communication skills ensuring seamless working with Brand team, CDC, Measurement science,Consumer science, claims groups and external supplier personnel Key Skills 1. A good understanding of chemistry. 2. Willing to learn functional ingredients and their structure/functions/performance relation to their styling aids products and broad technical understanding of other disciplines 3. Demonstrate the ability to understand, interpret and clarify instructions, as well as guide, instruct, and advise others as needed 4.
