Associate Software Engineer, Platforms

If so, Lawson Software is actively recruiting Associate Software Engineer, Platforms to join our Product Development Team!

Responsibilities:
* Provides second and third -level support for applicable development environment(s).
* Configures, maintains and deploys specific environment(s).
* Makes consequence analysis of environment requests from Development projects.
* Develops and maintains knowledge in platform specific scripting techniques.
* Ensure that all existing installation documentation is accurate and updated (configuration item information),    published and understood by all installers.

Qualifications:
* 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
* 1+ years experience with Unix platform administration is required.
* Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server is strongly desired.
* Working knowledge of or willingness to learn Windows and IBM i (AS/400) platform administration is strongly desired.
* 1+ years experience using scripting languages, like Perl, Unix Shell Scripting, Windows batch file scripting, etc.
