General Description:
The Global Marketing Assistant's primarily responsibilities are the management of Matrix Global Internet initiatives, strategic analysis projects for the Global Marketing teams (Hair Care, Styling, Hair Color and Texture), coordinating market research projects, and management and coordination of all presentations to senior management.

Responsibilities:
' Facilitate Global Internet Initiatives
o Facilitate all Matrix global online sites and act as liaison between the brand, markets, and agencies
o Key interactive point person for marketing, Research and Business Development of Matrix Global site
o Responsible for day-to-day content management
o Trafficking communication between cross functional teams for approvals
o Develop/execute new strategic initiatives and create new site features and managing all creative deliverables for web redesign with agency partner
o Coordinate with the creative department to get and manage assets, manage an assets library
o Manage internet budget and all invoicing, PO requests, & international charge-backs and alerting manager of trends and risks
o Manage all world wide Consumer Affair/Club Matrix inquiries by distributing to appropriate country
o Compile monthly analysis reports on website stats
' Strategic analysis projects for Global Marketing teams on a cross-category level
o Competitive analysis
o Assist with monthly sales data preparation and review
o Manage department databases of key information to use for marketing analyses
o Issue quarter launch updates using data from marketing teams and local markets
o Manage/ update Global Launch Calendar
' Market research:
o Assist in financial tracking of market research projects (PO and invoice processing)
o Programming of questionnaires to the Matrix Panel
' Management and coordination of all presentations to senior management
o Assist VP Marketing and GM with slide preparation
o Liaise with Global Marketing teams to assemble decks
' Play a part in innovation by suggesting ideas
' Interact effectively with other departments to support Marketing objectives
' Conduct competitive and consumer data analysis and make recommendations to management

Requirements:
' Bachelors degree required, preferably in Global Marketing or similar concentration
' 2-3 years minimum experience in marketing and/or office environment, consumer goods industry a plus
' Strong knowledge of internet and web-based technologies with min 2-3 years experience in a communications or digital media role
' Strong understanding of the Digital Media and Beauty Industry
' Analytical and project management skills essential
' Strong communication skills (written and oral)
' Excellent PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet)
' Appreciation of global markets and the ability to interface in a global environment.
' Can work independently with minimal supervision on projects
' Works well in a highly networked organization
' Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
' Ability to create presentations
' Detail oriented
' Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms.
' Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for marketing and communications (advertising, digital marketing, pr, media)
