Job Description
A NYC CPA firm is looking for a Audit Manager for its Hedge Fund practice.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing multiple auditing and accounting projects and client engagements.
- Responsible for planning and executing the full scope of audits for a variety of businesses.
- Prepare, review and analyze financial statements.
- Simultaneously, scheduling, staffing and coordinating engagement workflow
- Train & develop staff
Job Requirements
- CPA certified
- Must have 12+ years accounting experience
- Must have at least 3 years of experience with a hedge fund
- Willing to “roll up sleeves”
- Excellent work ethic, intelligent, and willing to put in the hours
- Flexibility, self-confidence and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Positive initiative with ability to drive projects forward
- CPA
- (7) years of audit experience in the Hedge Fund or Asset Management Practice of a Public Accounting firm
- 1-3 years of recent managerial experience in a public accounting firm Strong communications, research, analytical and writing skills
