As Audit Risk Modeling Manager, the selected candidate will act as a quantitative subject matter expert in its performance audits, investigations and reviews, and as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and resolve technical issues. Primary functions include, but are not limited to: · Developing corrective actions for model deficiencies through consultation with audit clients, while providing them with suggestions into how to improve the quality of their modeling · Preparing and reviewing model assessment procedures and preparing final reports · Interacting with clients to assess the materiality of models, analyzing problems, developing alternatives, building consensus and supporting solution implementation · Managing the planning of model audit and model validation objectives, plans, approaches and criteria · Conducting onsite and offsite model audits and validation reviews, while assessing adherence to program guidelines · Working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends The candidate we seek will have: · 8-10 years of relevant experience that includes leading model audits and model validation, especially for financial models with complex cash flows; defining, executing and improving model audit and model validation procedures; cash flow model development and assessment for financial services institutions · 2+ years’ management experience · Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline’ advanced degree or course work preferred · In-depth knowledge of the secondary mortgage market and mortgage servicing processes · Demonstrated communication, presentation, planning and project management skills, plus the ability to successfully influence others Conditions for Employment: This position is only available to U.S. Citizens and lawful permanent residents, absent approval from the U.S. Department of Treasury.
