Senior Audit Manager
A rapidly growing Cincinnati boutique firm is seeking a Senior Manager to lead audit engagements for key clients in the general Ohio region. This organization is well established, and brings a dynamic yet relaxed culture/environment to the table. The manager will be responsible for developing industry and technical expertise in assurance and business advisory areas, effectively managing multiple client relationships, and establishing audit objectives and scope of work. Deserving candidates will achieve Partner/Ownership status within an accelerated time table.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
o Deliver general business consulting and profit consulting for clients.
o Develop skills in analyzing complex problems, researching and organizing solutions, drafting correspondence, and develop ability to effectively present recommendations to clients and others.
o Expand knowledge of industries in which clients operate and of clients' internal operations, and develop an awareness of clients' needs for services which the firm can provide.
o Perform detailed tasks on engagements while delegating and supervising others
o Develop skills in coordinating assistants, client personnel, procedures, computer and other resources in achieving high quality results in the most time efficient manner and at the least expense possible to the client.
o Directs the training of senior firm members and staff accountants in the development of technical competence and skills in dealing with client's personnel and other professional contacts, and evaluates staff assistants.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· 7 -10 years public accounting experience.
· Previous experience with financial statement attest engagements preferred.
· Previous experience in a management/leadership capacity.
· Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field. CPA required.
· Excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize, attention to detail, and competent technical skills.
· Desire and motivation to become a partner in a short period of time.
