BDO Seidman, LLP is looking to expand our practice into the Puerto Rico market. We will be growing our Assurance practice and have several openings we need to fill immediately. All positions will be based in Puerto Rico primarily servicing one major new client.
Apply knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies
Identify and implement new pronouncements to client situations
Supervise, direct and review the results of the audit
Supervise and train staff and seniors
Review complex financial statements and disclosures as well as documentation of validated, tested and assessed various control systems
Review client SEC filings
Build client relationships, business development and marketing
Engagement profitability including billings and collections
Bachelors degree in Accounting
CPA certification
7+ years prior work history including significant public accounting experience
Solid experience within SEC
Demonstrated client service skills
Significant supervisory experience
