Washington Regional Medical Center, located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, has an immediate opening for a talented self motivated individual to fill the rold of Auditor/Chargemaster Coordinator. The Auditor/Chargemaster Coordinator is responsible for delegating each charge department to insure that the chargemaster has accurate CPT, UB codes, modifiers, and pricing is continually maintained. This position assists delegates of charge departments in developing the knowledge and understanding of appropriate charge processes and documentation. The incumbent is responsible for the auditing of charts for services provided to our patients. The incumbent responds to all requests for focus bill audits from various customers of the system. The incumbent prepares compliance-related audits and provides information for reports as requested. The incumbent works with system staff on issues related to documentation in the medical records.

The ideal candidate will possess two to five years of clinical nursing experience or, if non-licensed, will possess an advanced degree with training or experience in auditing of clinical records. Prior experience in coding would be helpful. Previous use of Microsoft Office products is required. Prior knowledge and use of McKesson Chargemaster and Trendstar work experience is preferred.
