Desmond & Ahern, Ltd. is a CPA firm located in Chicago that serves a significant number of trade associations, professional societies, social service agencies, charitable foundations, and other nonprofits.  We also perform audits of small to medium sized closely held businesses and credit unions.

We are looking for candidates that have a minimum of 18 months audit experience.  Long-term relationship desired.

The position requires strong audit skills and prior experience in running audit engagements with complex accounting and audit issues.  Knowledge of accounting and audit pronouncements is a must.  Responsibilities will range from performing basic audit fieldwork to supervision and technical review of financial statements.  No out-of-town travel required.  Knowledge of ProFx Engagement software is a plus.
