Qualifications:

Associates degree or equivalent work experience

2-5 years of supervisory / leadership experience (prefer automotive experience)

Experience in dealing with customer relations

Experience leading a team and dealing with employee relations issues

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring all teams within assigned location(s) are operating according to client requirements including safety. 

Train and educate Team Leaders and Inspectors on proper client procedures relevant to the project.

Sort parts in order assess the process and provide necessary training and direction to team members as well as meet the location’s production requirements.

Use progressive discipline system to document and maintain violations of employee policies.

Coordinate all necessary job specifications and requirements with the Team Leader and Scheduler/Recruiter.

Develop work instructions and confirm team conformance to the job set up and communicate any criteria changes to customer service department.

Meet with customer contact at the beginning of each new project and continue to maintain and manage customer relationships.

Identify any potential new business opportunities within assigned plant locations and communicate any new business opportunities to the Marketing / Sales Department.

Track and report competitor activity at assigned plant locations.

Report any non-conformances to the Team Leader and Quality Department and work with the Project Coordinator Team Leader and Quality Department to identify, investigate and correct any non-conformances.

Other duties as assigned.

Throughout performance of duties ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Requirements:

Travel on day and overnight trips.

Work flexible hours on various shifts based on project and business demands.

Perform on-call duties.

Possess a valid state issued driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Ability to meet the following Physical Requirements:

Lift a minimum of 25 lbs on a repetitive basis for up to 12 hours.

Stand for up to 12 hours.

Work in repetitive environment to include one or more of the following for up to 12 hours: Grasp, Grip, Reach, Pull, Push, Bend, Squat, Kneel or Balance.

Work in different climates, such as heat or cold, for up to 12 hours.
