The Service Advisor/Service Consultant is usually our first contact person with our customers. This person must be customer focused and centered.

Some of the Job Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers in a prompt, courteous manner.
  
• Determine the nature of their mechanical problems
  
• Secure agreement with the customer before repairs begin concerning costs and promised completion time.
  
• Test drive the vehicle with the customer if there are any questions concerning the nature of the problem
  
• Inspect the vehicle for any pre-existing damage or needed body repairs.
  
• Handle customer complaints or misunderstandings.
  
• Must have the ability to be aware constantly of the repair progress for the customers vehicles that you are handling and keep the customers informed of the progress of any repairs.
  
• Must have very good Telephone skills.
  
• Must be able to explain repairs performed and any associated charges.
  
• Must be able to explain warranty policies and procedures
  
• Must be able to perform required GM and outside vendor training on a regular basis.
  
• Computer skills are a must, you will be working with Windows based programs and Reynolds systems.

• Must be able to pass a drug test before hiring and random testing afterwards
  
• Must have a clean driving record
  
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Be somewhat proficient with Microsoft Excel, Windows XP, Outlook Email, Internet

This job is not for everyone, this is a faced paced, high stress, competitively paced opportunity. The Service Advisors usually work Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm. This position is exposed to all weather conditions, it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
