With Toyota being the leader in sales and service, Lighthouse Toyota is growing fast and we need good motivated people to join our team.  Our dealership is located in the beautiful beach community of St. Augustine, FL.


 


Position Summary:


 


The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling work in the service department and for selling additional needed maintenance and repairs.  The Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring the customer experience meets or exceeds the Manufacturer’s Satisfaction Index.


 


Position Responsibilities:


 


- Great customer service in a prompt, courteous manner, acknowledge waiting customers.


 


- Communicate with Service Customers to determine the nature of their requests and needs.


 


- Secure agreement from customers before repairs, cover cost estimates and approximate times of completion.


 


- Schedule appointments and maintain good customer and vehicle data


 


- Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the need for factory recommended scheduled maintenance


 


- Handle minor customer complaints


 


- Communicate the need for additional work when needed; explain the details to the customer, including the additional costs and time consideration and document properly on the repair order.


 


- Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process, appointments and return messages promptly.


 


- Interpret warranty information/policies and communicate that to customers.


 


- Advise customers of special ordered parts and keep them informed to arrival times and schedule appointments for installation


 


- Follow up on progress of each repair order during the day and communicate any changes in estimate or completion times.


 


- Actively deliver the vehicle to the customer upon completion by explaining the repair order in full and set next appointment for services recommended


 


 


Qualifications:


 


- Must meet company hiring standards


 


- Must have a valid drivers license


 


- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles


 


- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills


 


- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information


 


- 1 Year Experience


 


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills


 


- Professional appearance
