Pep Boys is looking for dependable and experienced ASE Certified Technicians, and Master Technicians for our store located in Pottstown, PA! Also, we are searching for qualified Service Advisor/Writers (PT) to complement our service desk and provide Customer First service!

·        The Technician, Mechanic and Installer are responsible for providing quality service by performing a variety of automotive services.  These positions perform productive diagnosis, repair and replacement of general automotive parts and accessories, which may include:

o        Safety and courtesy inspections

o        Diagnostic services through proficient use of electronic test equipment

o        Specialized repair and replacement services to include: fuel injection systems, diesel engines, on-board computer systems, and emission control systems

o        General repair and replacement services to include: truing rotors and drums, disc drums and brakes, wheel alignment, struts and suspension, engine performance (tune-up), fuel systems, cruise control, sound systems, exhaust systems, fluid and filter service, heating and cooling systems, air conditioning systems, drive train/U-joint service, front wheel drive/constant velocity joints and specialty installations

·          Master Technician:  Minimum of 6 months experience as a certified technician or Master Technician and eight ASE’s are required.  Additional ASE’s are strongly encouraged.

·          EP Technician: Minimum of 6 months experience as a certified technician or mechanic and six ASE’s (excluding Auto and Manual Transmissions) and an L1 Certificate are required.  Additional ASE’s are strongly encouraged.

·          Technician: Minimum of 6 months experience as a certified technician or mechanic and four ASE’s (Brakes & Steering and Suspension, plus any other two ASE’s) are required.  Additional ASE’s are strongly encouraged.
