A minimum of 20 years technical and/or operational experience in aviation battery and power systems and programs. Expertise in lithium ion, lithium polymer, lead acid, Ni-Cd and future battery technologies. Application of experience in all aircraft and unmanned aerial systems. Should possess excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems; mastery of DoD and US Navy policies, procedures and tools. Must possess and maintain as a minimum a Secret security clearance.



Job Description :
Provide subject matter expertise on aviation battery and power systems and programs. Use program management, technical expertise, and manufacturing process expertise to perform expert-level review, analysis, and validation of engineering and logistics products. Consult as industry expert with government customer, advice on policy development, planning and implementations. Support IPTs and Analysis teams in evaluating customer programs and systems. Develop and/or review program reports, technical papers, vendor assessments, drawings, specifications and procedures. Position may require travel.
