Business Analyst II gathers, documents, and most importantly, analyzes application requirements, conducts application analysis, participates in functional application design, creates and analyzes ad-hoc reports and aids in the escalation/resolution of project risks and issues.

Note interruptions or bugs in operation and perform problem solving exercise to determine problem and ensure continued use of the application. • Track production issues and report periodically to group charged with monitoring uptime and efficiency of production application. • Technical competencies in the use of business reporting and database management tools required, particularly Business Objects XI (BOXI) including the use and creation of Dashboards. Experience with Xcelsius is a plus. • Knowledge and understanding of mortgage industry, secondary mortgage activities, servicing guidelines (reporting and remitting), and critical applications is a plus. • Demonstrated proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software, particularly with Excel (pivot tables, functions, etc) and MS Access (creating macros, forms, etc) • Knowledge of Database structures, architectures, capabilities, and systems (OLAP, ORDB, Data Marts, etc) • Demonstrated proficiency with UNIX is a plus
