BRAND ACCOUNTANT (TAS) SALARY:  (60K-75K + Bonus)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.Assist in month-end close and preparation of financial statements;
2.Prepare and post journal entries;
3.Prepare account reconciliations and perform financial analysis;
4.Assist in preparation of budgets and planning cycles;
5.Interact with internal management and external contacts.
6.Financially monitor the marketing subledger for completeness, accuracy and controls.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Interacts with other members of the Finance team, sales organization, and the commercial and marketing management for the brand. Also communicates regularly with a variety of positions within the organization including European headquarters.

REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance required. 4+ years accounting exp.
Understands Finance concepts and impact of decisions;
Previous experience with financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting;
Possesses a clear understanding of basic accounting practices for posting journal entries, processing month end close, best practices for accruals and method for preparation of financial statements;
Expert level MS Excel – able to create spreadsheets and manipulate data effectively for analysis; Pivot table and V-lookup experience a plus;
Experience with SAP navigation preferred;
Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner both in written and verbal formats;
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
