THE SALES PROFESSIONAL WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCCESSFULLY GROWING THE  TERRITORY BY CLOSING DEALS EFFECTIVELY.  THIS MUST BE A  TALENTED AND EXPERIENCED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE WHO CAN FURTHER GROW THE COMPANY'S REVENUE BASE AND MARKET SHARE THROUGH MARKET RESEARCH, COLD CALLING, NETWORKING, & CONSULTATIVE SELLING.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ongoing development of new business.

  • Grow and enhance strategic client relationships in the area of  workflow management, innovative knowledge capture and reporting, & analytics software solutions.

  • Work directly with clients, service teams, and senior management to effectively sell the comopany's services and solutions

  • Develop plans to promote revenue growth of  the company's services involving fully integrated, end-to-end data modeling and application development systems that can be leveraged across vertical markets.

  • Perform sales activities for strategic accounts to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives, including...
    - Contact and visit energy companies and natural gas producers to determine needs.
    - Create and perform sales presentations with identified needs and address client issues and objections.
    - Sell services through face-to-face contact.
    - Apply effective techniques to uncover potential prospects, qualify them, engage them through cold calling, attending and speaking at conferences, and close as many new deals as possible

  • Remain knowledgeable of company's service solutions to facilitate sales efforts.

  • Maintain regular schedule of contact with customers via phone and on-site visits to ensure satisfaction, and alert of new or improved services.

  • Engage in relationship building and networking activities to develop additional sales opportunities.

  • Provide feedback to development team on customer requirements and business opportunities.

  • Work seamlessly with development, business architects and customer support team to ensure quality service delivery and effective implementation of products at customer sites.

  • Work with Sales Team to devise sales plans and strategies to accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams...
    - Develop account plans and sales strategies that will ensure sustainable business growth.
    - Collaborate with colleagues to determine effective sales techniques.
    - Determine ways to differentiate from competitors.
    - Develop and enhance business relationships with existing customers to maximize account penetration and customer satisfaction.
    - Assist marketing with design and promotional strategies.

Requirements
  • Engineering degree
  • 7+ years of software solutions sales or workflow solutions sales experience
  • Proven track record of solution selling
  • Proven track record of success in prospecting and developing a territory/market.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong relationship building and networking skills.
  • Solid understanding of the natural gas segment with established network of Operational Contacts to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Experience managing the complete sales cycle.
  • Superior written communication skills, including experience with proposal writing and presentation building.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, including presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, strong work ethic and passion for technology.
  • Ability to articulate the business value of technical solutions to all levels of an organization
  • Strong engineering/technical background in the energy business
  • Knowledge of natural gas, and gas compression business.
  • Understanding of the natural gas market, natural gas compression and transportation, and natural gas compressors
