Volt Workforce Solutions has an immediate need for a Business Development Manager to expand our staffing services in our Fargo, North Dakota branch. This person is responsible for consistently increasing Branch revenue and generating new business through outside Sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, territory management and relationship building. We are seeking an individual, preferably, with previous Staffing Firm Sales experience, or an experienced agency recruiter with a strong desire and drive to move into the new Business Development role.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following:

-Developing and implementing an effective Sales plan to meet or exceed established Sales objectives

-Researching potential business and current customers
Generating leads through prospecting, cold calling and networking, both in-person and via telephone

-Using the Consultative Sales Strategy to effectively overcome client objections and maximize Sales activity within assigned territory

-Establishing and maintaining good relationships with clients and the community in order to develop new business

-Servicing and developing additional business opportunities within current customer base

-Making formal Sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective New Business accounts

-Interfacing with appropriate Field Management to establish pricing for quotes and bids that are consistent with the company's financial objectives

-Meeting all minimum requirements for weekly, monthly, and quarterly appointment activity and revenue growth

-Completing all required Sales reports and detailed documentation by weekly deadlines

-Meeting with Branch Manager and inside staff on a regular basis to communicate all customer service priorities and business/Sales opportunities

-Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by Volt Information Sciences and awareness of the competition, i.e. market share, pricing, services offered, etc.


Requirements:
Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience

-Minimum of 3 years sales experience (preferably in a Staffing Agency environment)

-Strong sales track record of consistently exceeding quotas

-Previous experience servicing, supporting, developing, and generating accounts

-Excellent oral and written communication skills.

-Strong time management and problem solving skills

-Demonstrated sound business judgment and decision-making skills

-Computer proficiency with all MS Office Suites
