Old National Bank has an opportunity for a Business Information Officer who specializes in lending. This senior manager will serve as the technology liaison for all lending applications. The Business Information Officer responsibility includes strategic and tactical planning as it relates to the lending technology of the bank.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Customer Focus
- Conducts ongoing substantive dialogue with senior business leaders resulting in a thorough understanding of business strategies.
- Finds ways to materially contribute to business unit strategies and plans.
- Builds and maintains relationships based on trust and contribution.
- Drives creation of the Portfolio Multi-Year Plan including a comprehensive application renewal investment plan.
- Leads effective resolution of high impact incidents as measured by client feedback and remediation results.
- Establishes and successfully achieves customer focused Service Level Agreements/Critical to Qualities where appropriate.
- Actively drives accountability and ownership of the staff.
- Revenue, Efficiency, Credit, Quality Improvement
- Proactively supports the introduction of the Business Event Network and Service Oriented Architecture into our environment.
- Provides leadership on 'Beach-Head' projects.
- Active supports and promotes line of business revenue and efficiency opportunities.
- Embraces the evolving governance processes to help drive investment toward appropriate initiatives.
- Provides 'portfolio views' of planned and active projects to highlight revenue and efficiency opportunities within the portfolio.
- Demonstrates portfolio/division understanding of key architecture transformation concepts.
- Financial Management
- Manages all projects within a 10% budget variance and within pre-determined project timeline variance.
- Delivers predictable project life-cycle execution as measured by adherence to quality gates.
- Ensures that Critical to Quality and Quantifiable Business Objectives are identified for new projects and manages business involvement during analysis to deliver quality requirements, project estimates and budgets.
- Manages both base and discretionary cost center to within 5% of budget without introducing unexpected carry-forward expenses.
- Actively supports the use of Common Way processes.
- Actively manages risk; ensuring there are no adverse audit, legal or regulatory findings generated from the portfolio.
- Effectively manages SOX, audit and compliance issues.
- Actively participate in processes to reduce customer impacting outages.

- Actively participates and champions IS Transformation initiatives as measured by use of tools, feedback from project teams and staff.
- Embraces six-sigma and ensures appropriate training and processes are implemented within the portfolio.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 10 years financial institution experience that includes:
- Lending applications.
- Strategic planning.
