New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company (NJM), a leading property-casualty insurer has an opening in their Communications Department for a Bank Marketing Specialist, to work out of their West Trenton, NJ location. This individual will support the marketing efforts of NJM Bank, our wholly owned subsidiary.  Prior bank product marketing experience is a must, as is having knowledge of bank advertising laws.

For this position, NJM is seeking an individual with the following qualities and experiences:

- Four year degree, preferably in marketing, finance or related business major

- Experience in developing marketing and creative strategies

- 3-5 years experience specific to bank product marketing

-Thorough knowledge of bank advertising laws

- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of web tools, direct e-marketing, MCIF, MS    Word, PowerPoint and Excel

- Understanding of public relations and media planning

- Sound and proven project management skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

The duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:

-Develop and implement activities and projects that promote and enhance NJM Bank services to current and prospective clients

- Partner with NJM Bank and Insurance Company for the purpose of managing and marketing initiatives in support of all lines of banking business

- Conduct thorough analyses to better position company campaigns and product development

- Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and practices by demonstrating proactive research techniques

- Compare and contrast product mix within trade area and maintain a clear understanding of customer needs, behaviors and buying patterns

- Compose and maintain material on company intranet/internet sites, lobby brochures, customer service brochures and documents, and direct mailing announcements

- Maintain an orderly review process of marketing brochures and other documents to assure the involvement and approval of all necessary parties in a timely manner
