POSITION SUMMARY
Process and monitor all active Bankruptcies and associated processes while maintaining strict adherence to SLS’ published KPIs. Monitor Bankruptcy timelines related to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process and monitor active Bankruptcies assigned within established policies and procedures. Record pertinent information in the loan servicing system and other applicable software to maintain accurate and current records. Assist Executive Services with escalated Bankruptcy calls. Monitor loans to ensure timely payment of claims by trustees and debtors. Process Bankruptcy referrals and timelines per SLS’ published KPIs.
SKILLS
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, Word and Access. Strong problem solving ability, data collection, analysis and presentation experience. Ability to effectively gather and analyze information. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years work experience in default mortgage servicing.
- Documented experience with Chap 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy processing.
