Position Summary:
Essential Duties:
The Bed Management Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of placing patients appropriately within the facility. 

General Responsibility:
The position requires intimate knowledge of hospital polices and procedures relevant to the patient placement processes. Emergency Room de-escalation, EMTKA and InterQual. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative skills are inherent in the position. The ability to retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange information is through spoken words. Written, telephone and manuel dexterity are required for this position

Requirements:
Must have a current Florida RN license.
