Full-time nurse manager for our Behavioral Health Unit.

General Responsibilities:
Oversees the direction, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of activities in the Behavioral Health Unit. This is a department head level position and will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer

Requirements:
Current PA RN license
Current CPR
5 years psychiatric supervisory experience
Experience with group facilitation
Strong leadership. documentation and communication skills
Self-starter and posses excellent assessment skills
Accountable and willing to hold staff to high nursing standards
Willing to work weekends and holidays.
Able to work all shifts

General Responsibilities:

Ability to perform head-to-toe assessment and reassessments on all patients as per policy.  This includes:  perdiatric, geriatric and the general population

Ability to revise plan of care as indicated by the patient's respons to treatment and evaluate the overall plan daily for effectiveness

Communicates appropriately and clearly to physicians, staff, Nurse Executive and administrative team

Maintains performance improvement activities for the deparment

Develops, maintains, and evaluates patient/client and staff data collection systems and processes to support the practice of nursing and delivery of patient care.Benefits:
