Title: Contract Recruiter

Reports to: Director, Human Resources

 

Status: Per Diem

 

Summary:

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and referring applicants for identified positions throughout the Company. Initial emphasis will be on our sales team. The contract will vary depending on needs of the department and can range between 3 to 6 plus months.



Responsibilities:

§  Execute recruitment plan by aggressively recruiting for well-qualified candidates from a variety of sources, managing selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates, screening, recommending finalists, and filling the staffing needs within the defined service and performance criteria.

§  Establish, cultivate and maintain ongoing relationships and partnership with hiring managers in order to understand their recruitment needs.

§  Provide high level of customer service in consulting with and guiding hiring managers in comprehensive recruitment and staffing issues, policies and processes.

§  Initiates and maintains relationships with potential candidates.

§  Conduct periodic follow-ups with Human Resources managers and hiring managers to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

§  Ability to track and report weekly progress.

§  Ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the employment process.

§  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

§  Thorough knowledge and understanding of Imperial vision, company focus and structure.

§  Considerable skill in interviewing techniques.

§  Extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedures, as well as federal and multi-state laws regarding employment practices.

§  Exceptional customer service skills.

§  Discretion in dealing with confidential matters.

§  Highly organized, extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with changing priorities.

§  Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.

§  Ensure Imperial practice of “promote from within” is followed.

§  Act as liaison with area employment and temporary agencies.

§  Provide weekly reporting of open positions to Director, HR and HR Manager.

§  Record and report team member referrals where applicable.
