| This employee is responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating employee benefits for computer input with minimal supervision and direction. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide customer service to sister companies, employees, and carriers. Enroll new employees in benefits and create medical files with all enrollment information. Oversee the maintenance of employee benefits records through on-line and internal database computer input. Enter address changes in employee database and change address with all benefit carriers. Reconcile monthly carrier invoices by company Post Vouchers for monthly invoices. Provide accounts payable with a copy invoices for payment and auditing. Mail monthly payments to benefit carriers. Process termination paperwork and cancel employee benefits Send COBRA notification via certified US mail . Track monthly COBRA payments-send out notices if payments are late. Track benefit premiums for employees out on STD and WC. Prepare deduction/contribution reports for each payroll. Act as liaison for employee while transferring companies. Act as a liaison between all health plan representatives and employee benefits. Prepare and develop communication and educational materials regarding the benefits package for all the insured employees. Perform other duties as assigned. | |

| Associate's degree acceptable, prefer 4 year degree in business or human resources | |
| Experience | |
Minimum of five years experience in employee benefits procedures. Ability to maintain effective working relationships. Thorough knowledge of office practices and employee benefit procedures. Minimum of five years of data processing experience. Experience in operating a personal computer in a Microsoft Windows environment.
