Duties

·         Formulate beverage concepts for customers such as Costco, Sam’s Club, JBJ’s Wholesale Warehouse, HEB, and others.  Nutritional beverages, healthy sports drinks, vitamin loaded products, energy boosting concepts, etc.

·         Work with customers over the phone or in person in order to deliver upon customer’s expectations and needs.

·         Assist the Operations Manager with scale up and production issues.

·         Consult on packaging design and efficiency.      

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in one of the natural sciences (food science, microbiology, chemistry, or biology preferred)

·         Minimum of 3 years using flavors, preservatives, and nutritional ingredients to produce cutting edge beverage creations.

·         Must be able to interact successfully and professionally with customers, vendors, auditors, contractors, and other employees.

·         Manages all analytical work so that it is performed using appropriate approved methods for raw material testing, in-process testing, and finished goods testing and certification.  Insures that all finished goods meet customer requirements.
