JOB DESCRIPTION
Bi-Lingual Marketing Tour Desk Staff
Location: Waikiki, Honolulu, HI
Job Summary/Description:
Responsible for signing up customers (emphasis on Japanese tourists) to attend our vacation ownership sales presentations. Requires continuous face-to-face communication to customers on a daily basis. Also responsible for greeting all resort guests (emphasis on Japanese owners) at check-in; acts as the resort concierge to set up appointments for owner updates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work at various locations at the information/concierge desks to assist tourists and hotel guests with their questions and offer the opportunity to attend our presentation
- Respond to phone calls and email inquiries received from individuals living in Japan and those currently visiting Hawaii
- Assist Japanese owners checking-in and signing them up to attend the owner's update
Requirements:
- Fluency in Japanese reading and speaking
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Able to initiate conversations and offer recommendations
- 1-2 years customer service in the hospitality industry preferred
