What we do

Auxis Consulting Manager

The Manager will be responsible for providing professional business and information technology consulting services, both individually and as part of a project team.  The individual will provide subject matter expertise across the practice landscape and be the architect of advanced business and technology solutions, processes and improvements for clients.  The individual will direct the development of high quality client deliverables and work product, lead project engagements and lead in the creation of high valued-added practice methodologies, tools and deliverables.  This position will play major a role in driving practice-related business development and pre-sales activities, and defining and selling practice related consulting solutions.  The individual will provide hands on leadership, direction and mentoring of team members, and manage customer relationships.  This position may require travel to client sites that are located outside of the South Florida area.

 

Detailed Position Summary:

This role will require an Accounting and Finance professional with a successful track record of transforming financial and operational areas into corporate growth enablers.  This individual should possess a proven ability to define organizational strategies and objectives and align these objectives with operational and back-office processes and functions.  The individual will be responsible for integrating business process improvements with information technology architecture and solutions, and be highly experienced with the following:

 

  • Working with clients’ senior management to develop and execute strategies to reduce operating costs, improve financial and accounting workflow, and increase the accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational data and increase accounting value-added services to internal and external customers. 
  • Providing operational strategy, requirements analysis, functional design and systems implementation support to client engagements.
  • Planning and executing client engagements in the areas of financial and operational analysis, process design, and business application design and implementation.
  • Supporting governance and other compliance oriented (i.e., Sarbanes Oxley ) remediation projects, including evaluating financial controls, accounting procedures and business processes related to financial reporting, and designing and implementing  internal controls remediation and financial reporting systems based on industry standard frameworks (COSO, etc.)


Requirements & Skills:

  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Experience in leading and supporting business transformation, financial operations, cost containment and lean operations engagement; shared services and/or business process outsourcing experience a plus
  • Experience in leading and support business process analysis and design engagements, with an emphasis on financial, treasury and budgeting operations
  • Ability to collect, assimilate, retain, and analyze information on the business, including data collection and analysis, Financial modeling (Excel modeling), operating model as well as other analytical models.
  • CPA is a definite plus
  • BS Degree in Accounting
  • Functional knowledge and experience in the implementation of ERP systems and financial reporting infrastructure.
  • Minimum of 4 years with Management Consulting or Auditing (Big 4 preferred)
  • Sarbanes Oxley or similar compliance and controls experience
  • A “go-getter” attitude driven by results
  • A team player, with ability to work independently
  • Experience with Fortune 500 companies, multinationals, mid-sized companies and startups in various industries including manufacturing, distribution and retail. 
  • Bi-lingual is required (Spanish and English)
  • Prior experience with Latin American Business
  • Travel +50%, passport required.
