Bilingual Customer Service Representative

We are seeking experienced and exceptional individuals to join our client services team in our Operations department. The ideal candidates will have a professional phone demeanor, problem solving skills, and the ability to meet and/or exceed client needs.  The Financial Customer Service Representatives will also be expected to be the in-house experts on FXCM’s products and services from an Operations perspective. This role requires confidentiality, strong communication, and organizational skills.

All candidates must be fluent in English and one or more of the following languages:  Spanish, French, Russian, German, Portuguese, and/or Chinese.  Candidates must have s strong background working in a back-office, professional customer service environment. 

Primary responsibilities includes (not limited to):

  • Handle heavy inbound and outbound call volume on a daily basis
  • Provide effective and timely resolution of all client account related inquiries
  • Interact with general operations and new accounts team to trouble shoot and resolve various client issues
  • Navigate and research using company software and other resources
  • Recognize possible trends and report these findings
  • Strive for one-call resolution of client issues

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the USA (No H1 Visa Sponsorship)
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be fluent in English and one of the following languages:  Spanish, Russian, French, German, Portuguese, and/or Chinese
  • 1-3 years customer service experience - telephone experience strongly preferred
  • Possess good logic in order to resolve client inquiries and make quick decisions
  • Flexibility to work day and evening shifts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
  •  Self starter and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented with a high-level of organizational skills
  • Computer literate – Must be comfortable operating a computer and navigating the Internet
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
