Bilingual Financial Services Specialist

 

The most important characteristics for this role are:   entrepreneurial spirit, an overriding desire to win and a creation of “Win-Win” relationships with Financial Services Agents & Other Retail Partners.   This will require attention to detail in performance execution, merchandising and metrics analysis.

 

This position interfaces with the Executive Team, the Division Leadership Team and the Field Sales Associates.   This person acts as Subject Matter Expert for all Financial Services initiatives impacting the Division and ensures that the FSA’s have Subject Matter Competency.

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Ensure the achievement of Financial Services Product Implementation at the Division Level.   This will include:

 

FOR UNIDOS MONEY TRANSFER & BILL PAY:

 

  • Perform accurate, detailed store surveys to determine best money transfer stores in market area.  

1.     Use RSA data, RSA survey data, feedback from FSA’s, and in person surveys to place Unidos in the highest ROI outlets in the market.

Metric :  all surveys completed accurately and on time.

 

  • Conduct sales training on Unidos for FSA’s.

            Metric : training accomplished to standard

 

  • Conduct sales calls on designated accounts placing Unidos machines for both MT and bill pay.

            Metric : deliver 90% of targeted stores with signed contract by date suspense.

 

  • Insure all contracts, agreements, and supporting documentation is filled out correctly and completely.  

1.     Meet with customers to gain necessary documentation, screen all paperwork for completeness and errors.  

2.     Take the lead and be the first line of defense regarding all compliance issues.

Metric: insure each account has a complete and accurate application submitted in a timely manner for assessment.  Confirm compliance standards are met at each account.

 

  • Maintain relationships with our Unidos agents moving forward.  

1.     Visit stores to insure compliance standards are met, insure promotional materials are displayed and in place, inform customers of new promotions. 

2.     Drive increasing market share for Unidos by working with retailers, Unidos NY marketing team, and local field marketing.

            Metric : achieve market goals for number of transactions

 

  • Take the lead on installation scheduling and Agent training.  

1.     Set up schedules for Epana IT and facilitate efficient installation of terminals.  

2.     Train Unidos agents in the use of the system for bill pay and money transfer, daily settlement procedures, compliance, and FAQ.

Metric :  fully trained agents in compliance with Federal regulations and following proper procedures by Unidos policy.

 

FOR ALL FINANCIAL SERVICES AND MARKETING SERVICES:

 

·         Meet or exceed the Sales Volume Plan outlined for assigned accounts.

o        Create and execute Partnership contracts for Clients/Customers/Retailers.

o        Negotiate pricing on Unidos products.

o        Monitor compliance to contracts.

·         Executes selling transactions in established accounts or train FSA’s to execute such transactions.   Including:

o        Collection of money if applicable

o        Replenishment of inventory to satisfy consumer demand until next visit if applicable

o        Return of defective or obsolete inventory from customer’s stock

·         Conduct periodic business reviews, sell in new promotions, contribute to strategic planning, etc.  

o        Meetings can occur with or without Field Line or HQ Staff leadership.  

·         Ensure the Clients/Customers/Retailers maintain exemplary Merchandising Standards for Unidos and Other Financial Services brands in their existing accounts.   Including:

o        Placing brands and products in best selling position.

o        Relentless implementation of POS and poster execution exceeding Unidos standards establishing brand dominance in all retailer locations.  

o        Routine Point of Sale store surveys.

o        Activate all themed promotions according to direction from Field Line or HQ Staff leadership.

·         Responsible for relationships with Clients/Customers/Retailers in a spirit of partnership.   Create a perception of our organization as the category leaders.

·         Keep a keen awareness of what the competition is doing

o        Report findings regularly.

 

 

Organizational and Administration duties.   This will include:

·         Compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee and SOX Compliance Manuals.

·         Participation in training sessions when assigned.

·         If assigned a Company vehicle – use in accordance with policy:

o        Regular maintenance performed

o        Kept clean and in working order

o        Operate only for company business.

 

Experience and Education

 

  •   3-5 years of experience in the Consumer Goods & Services Arena
  • College degree or experience equivalencies

 

Industry Experience

 

  • Money Transfer organizations
  • Retail Merchandising experience preferred
